Lemmy did great in his second meet, coming in 2nd, 2nd and 4th in his 3 races. He bounces all the way to the box, he loves it and runs with everything he’s got. Tony Crafts got some wonderful pictures of him.
Racing
SOMOS Jax NOTRA 10/29
Lemmy was entered in his first oval meet last weekend. He won his first race handily and got tough draws for his second two, in which he placed 4th and 3rd. He came in 25th out of 44 whippets and was high opposite D dog. He is crazy for the lure and really loves to race.

Race practice
Lemmy attended his first race meet at the lovely sand track in Jacksonville. He went to practice on Friday and it didn’t take long for him to figure it out. The first two tries he wasn’t sure what was going on and didn’t chase the rail lure. The third try I ran 1/4 way down the track and he ran to me as the lure went by. The last time he totally ignored me and blew past me following the lure. When we practiced on Sunday I was able to release him and he was going nuts wanting the lure and followed it all the way around the corner. Many thanks to Mike Hattery and Allie Smith for helping me get him started. Box breaking next!
